Fill me up, Lord

"You will seek me, & find me when you seek me w/ all your heart," God says. But that is not the whole story. I'm not just a searcher. I'm also a hider. You too. We have to come face-to-face w/ our tendency to hide, to get lost. ~John Ortberg, Love Beyond Reason

Whine with that cheese

I just wanted to let you know that there is a blog titled "I heart Olaf".

My throat hurts, my ears feel stuffed (and always ringing), and I threw up three times on Friday due to nerves, and twice today due to those darn Target One-a-Day vitamins. (They are almost gone.)

And I can't sleep because I slept all day.

So there.

If I had a fagillion dollars I would hire a maid and a fairy. (the kind in books, not the Will & Grace kind). Although, I am sure that kind of fairy would be a very good friend. There is an orange fairy at my gym that always says hi to me. (I used to go to his tanning salon.)

    Why are you nervous?

I was nervous, because I had to give a presentation to our faculty and staff on emphasizing backward design in coordination with differentiated instruction. I think Wiggins/Tighes or Marzano are the gurus in this area for you eduspeak people.

Sounds awful :( Feel better soon. A hot bubble bath with candles always helps my nerves. If it's any consolation, everyone I know is coming down with something. I haven't, so I'm nervously waiting ;-). I like the idea of a private maid and Fairy, while I'm at it I'll throw in a private cook who make delicious, multi cuisine meals that are all low calorie :D
