Fill me up, Lord

"You will seek me, & find me when you seek me w/ all your heart," God says. But that is not the whole story. I'm not just a searcher. I'm also a hider. You too. We have to come face-to-face w/ our tendency to hide, to get lost. ~John Ortberg, Love Beyond Reason

I exaggerate

My witch doctor is a podiatrist/natural medicine, 84-year-old. Jewish, gentleman. He doesn't accept insurance. It's weird.

My accupuncturist doesn't take insurance --but I wouldn't give him up for the world.

I take herbs that I'm sure taste like elephant pee--but they make me feel better--so I don't complain.

Sometimes when western medicine can't give you a cure--Eastern medicine is the way to go.

My accupuncturist is the first to tell me to go to a doctor and what questions to ask my doctor-it's not all about him. A true professional will tie east to west.

My western doc isn't sold on my accu. but he figures he can't hurt me.

I can still get it paid by ins., I just have to submit it. But I am in total agreement in regard to using alternative techniques in order to have a liveable lifestyle.
