"As important as the food we eat,
if not more so,
is the manner in which we eat.
Any activity in which we engage semiconsciously,
without attentiveness,
merely perpetuates our unconscious patterns
& thus our condition of unenlightenment & suffering.
This holds true also of the way in which we consume our food."
THE PATH OF YOGA by Georg Feuerstein
I agree with this wholeheartedly. I can eat even strawberries in an unhealthy/overeating manner. It's about how and where eating takes place just as much as it is about what and how much we eat.
ReplyDeleteYep. It's not about what. It's about how. That's what living your yoga is all about.
